We are excited to share the latest updates on our activities at the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB). In this edition, we highlight some of the significant events and achievements from the summer of 2023.
Over the summer NKDB received the exciting news that we were finally granted ECOSOC Status!ย
Another key highlight was the 'Dream Plus Forum', where we brought together young North and South Korean teenagers discuss important issues related to North Korean human rights. The forum provided a platform for meaningful discussions and insights on the current human rights situation in North Korea and ways to advocate for positive change.
We continued to work with North Korean escapees through providing free legal consultations, workshops on human rights as well as providing psycho-social support.
