We had a busy start to 2024 this year:
- We released our monitoring report "Third Time's a Charm?" that investigates the human rights situation in the DPRK since the third Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on the DPRK was released in 2019. Make sure to check it out here!ย
- Our NKDB Center for HumanRights Legal Support team filed the historic first-ever lawsuit in front of the ROK National Court representing 5 North Korean escapees that fell victim to North Koreaโs โParadise on Earthโ campaign that took place between 1959 and 1984.
- NKDB's former Director of International Cooperation Hanna Song was appointed as the new Executive Director of NKDB!
