We are honored and grateful that the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB) was invited to meet with the Foreign Minister of Canada, Mélanie Joly! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿค

During the meeting, Minister Joly had the opportunity to hear directly from North Korean female escapees, and their courageous stories of survival and resilience. This meeting sends a strong message to the international community about the importance of empowering North Korean women and protecting their human rights.

We commend Minister Joly for her commitment to promoting women's rights and for standing in solidarity with North Korean female escapees. It is through such engagement and support that we can continue to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of women in North Korea.

At NKDB, we are dedicated to our mission of promoting women's rights and creating a brighter future for North Korean women. We are grateful for the opportunity to share the stories of escapees and to work with partners like Minister Joly in advancing our cause.

Thank you, Minister Joly, for your support and commitment to women's rights, and for your advocacy on behalf of North Korean female escapees. Together, we can make a difference in empowering women and protecting their human rights!
