We are thrilled to announce the start of a new semester at NKDB's Education Center for Korean Integration, where we recently launched the 6th Unification Law Academy, 25th North Korean Human Rights Academy, and 19th Unification Diplomacy Academy. These academies are a key part of NKDB’s mission to inform and educate the general public about the reality of human rights conditions in North Korea.
The importance of raising awareness on these critical issues cannot be overstated, particularly among young people. North Korea’s human rights crisis is one of the most pressing global challenges, and it is essential for the next generation to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to advocate for positive change. By engaging with topics like unification law, human rights, and diplomacy, young people can help shape policies and solutions that promote justice and human dignity for North Korean defectors and those still living under the regime.
At NKDB, we believe that education is the first step toward action. Our academy programs are designed to foster informed discussions, encourage civic engagement, and empower individuals to contribute meaningfully to the cause of North Korean human rights.
