NKDB was recently honored to welcome Hana Kang, writer and content creator behind the YouTube channel hanaya. Born in North Korea, Hana visited our office to share a donation made from her channel’s earnings.
Through her platform, Hana courageously shares her life story, fostering understanding, empathy, and connection with audiences across borders. Her work exemplifies the powerful role that storytelling can play in raising awareness about the realities faced by North Koreans.
