The 31st session of NKDB’s Monthly Briefing and Discussion on North Korean Human Rights took place on June 28th, 2016.
For this month’s briefing, Young Hwan Ko, Vice President of the Institute for National Security Strategy, discussed the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, and gave us his insight into events.
Moderated by Jae Chun Lee, board member of NKDB and former Ambassador of South Korea to Russia, representatives of foreign missions in Seoul were also present at the briefing, including the OHCHR, the EU delegation, the Australian embassy, the embassy of Nigeria, the Wall Street Journal, the German embassy, the embassy of Switzerland and the Finnish Embassy.
