On November 25th, the seventeenth session of NKDBโs Monthly Briefing and Discussion of North Korean Human Rights was held at the French Cultural Center in Seoul.
The topic for this month was โThe Right to Property: North Koreaโs Market Economy and Human Rights Violations due to State Ownershipโ. The speaker was Mr. Inho Park, president of the online newspaper DailyNK. He shared his knowledge on the special characteristics of the right to property in North Korea, as well as on the development of general markets in North Korea.
This was the last Briefing session for 2014. We will be resuming the event in January 2015.ย ย
