On Tuesday, June 28th, NKDB Chief Director Yeosang Yoon met with Tomás Ojea Quintana, the outgoing Special Rapporteur for North Korean Human Rights, in his final trip to South Korean in his capacity as the Special Rapporteur. Along with leaders from other North Korean human rights organizations, the group discussed how the situation has changed during the term of the Special Rapporteur, hopes for the future of the North Korean human rights movement, and concerns about developments in the field of human rights in North and South Korea during the Special Rapporteur's term that they wish for him to convey during his meetings with Yoon administration officials during the remainder of his trip.
