On October 25th, Director of International Cooperation, Hanna Song, met with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland along with representatives of other civil society organizations working on North Korean human rights, as well as the UN Human Rights Office in Seoul. During the meeting, representatives from the organizations explained in detail the work they are performing in support of the North Korean human rights movement, particularly with regards to transitional justice and accountability. Director Song emphasized NKDB's work in data collection as a means to supporting future accountability efforts and the partnerships that NKDB works through to improve our researchers expertise on gathering data that can be effectively used in the legal process of accountability.
