NKDB’s Resettlement Assistance Headquarters held a “Hope-Filling Small Group Activity” at Namsan. Participants took time to introduce themselves, share their hopes, and lock their hearts into the padlocks at Namsan Tower, getting to know one another better. The day ended with a delicious lunch and warm conversations.
This activity was organized to bring together North Korean escapees at risk of social isolation, such as single-person households or single-parent families. Many participants expressed that it was a comforting moment where they could laugh together, talk, and feel, “I’m not alone.”
