As part of this international youth program, NKDBโs Executive Director, Hanna Song, delivered a lecture to students from Ewha and Harvard Universities on the theme: โNorth Korea in the International Community: Understanding the Reality Faced by North Koreans.โ
Hanna Song introduced the work and history of NKDB, emphasizing its unique role in maintaining the largest database of human rights violations in North Korea, with over 87,000 documented cases. She also highlighted evolving trends in North Korean human rights violations and focused on international human rights mechanisms.
