Since April, Yoonseo Lee, founder of Yoonseo’s Shop, has been supporting NKDB through her online business.

Yoonseo launched her shop on Naver Smart Store during her second year of university. She explained :

“Even if the profit is small, I hope it can bring warmth to someone.”

After learning about the poor human rights conditions faced by North Korean women, she felt a deep sense of compassion and the desire to help.

“North Korean human rights are not a political issue,  they’re about basic rights to live with dignity.”

By donating part of her shop’s revenue, Yoonseo has become an inspiring and active supporter of women affected by human rights violations in North Korea. Her solidarity is a reminder that advocacy can take many forms and that business too can be a platform for change.  You can read more about Yoonseo’s story in the card news below.
