The 21st session of NKDB’s Monthly Briefing and Discussion of North Korean Human Rights took place on April 28th. The theme of the event was “Food Security in North Korea and Violations to the Right of Survival”. NKDB made a presentation on the food security situation in North Korea, analyzing the food availability and the problems associated with the state distribution system by period. The Briefing was kindly hosted by the Australian Embassy and participants at the event were representatives of foreign missions in South Korea, including the Embassies of Australia, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, the USA, Holy See, the EU Delegation and UNHCR.
