The "Psychological Understanding between North and South Korea" is an educational program that leverages over 20 years of research on North Korea and extensive communication experience with North Korean escapees. This academy, led by NKDB’s Resettlement Assistance Headquarters, aims to share their expertise with participants.

By understanding the characteristics of North Korean society and the psychology of North Korean escapees, this academy will help foster mutual empathy between North and South Korean residents and prepare for social integration. We encourage interested citizens to apply for this beneficial program.

Course Details:

- Eligibility: Approximately 30 existing and new NKDB donors 

(North Korean escapees can attend for free. For institutions or individuals receiving course fee support, please contact the number below.)

- Duration: July 2, 2024, to August 20, 2024 (Every Tuesday, 19:00 - 21:00)

- Location: NKDB Inter-Korean Social Integration Education Center (14 Gyeongheegung-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 3rd floor, Shinyoung Building)

- Format: In-person lectures in Korean

- Completion Requirement: Attendance of at least 6 sessions

- Application: First-come, first-served basis (may close early if spots fill up)
