On November 7, 2024, NKDB launched North Korean Human Rights 101 Academy, a free online course conducted in English.
This marks the continuation of a journey that began two years ago when NKDB introduced the first iteration of the academy. Over 90 students from across the globe came together online to learn about North Korean human rights and join the global advocacy movement. Last November, NKDB launched its second iteration, featuring new elements such as a series of talks exploring professional pathways for making an impact on the North Korean human rights movement.
The academy is divided into two parts:
