The Database Center for North Korean Human Rights is happy to announce the release of our report regarding the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)! This report, published with the support of Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD), examines each of the 17 SDGs and holistically evaluates the progress that North Korea has made in working toward achieving each of the Goals.

This report was compiled by carrying out interviews with experts and organizations in fields relevant to North Korea and each of the SDGs, as well as research using open-source materials and North Korean media. The report considers the progress that the DPRK had made prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the effects that the pandemic has had on North Korea's efforts to achieve the SDGs. The full report can be found on the A4SD website and on our own website by clicking on the report below.
